Course Objective The aim is this course is to know the basic concepts of education; to examine the social, physiologic, philosophic, politic, economic, and historical basics of education; to know research methods in educational sciences, to explain the qualifications of teaching proficiency and teachers, to know the attributes and development of teacher education, to analyze the developments in teacher education and to examine the tendencies in educational sciences.
Course Content The basic concepts of education, relation of education with other sciences and functions of it (philosophical, social, judicial, psychological, economical, political basis of education), historical development of educational sciences, educational tendencies at the 21st century, research methods in educational sciences, structure and features of Turkish National Education System, role of teacher in educational system, features of teacher profession, implementations and developments in teacher training.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
