Course Objective Understanding knowledge of comfort phenomenon and comfort mechanism, theirs factors and elements. Achieve of having test methods and evaluation fabric for performances, as a clothing comfort.
Course Content Definitions and classification of comfort. Psychological, physical-chemical and physiological comfort. The human/clothing system- physical processes in clothing and surrounding environment, physiological process in human body, Important factors and elements: moisture and water sorption and transfer, water vapor and air permeability, thermal conductivity and dynamic heat, skin contact characteristics, static electricity, fiber and fabric handle. New fibers and textile structures, multifunctional materials for comfort
