Course Objective Teaching physical testing of textiles
Course Content Aim of testing and standards. Sampling methods. Physical testing methods on man-made fibers. Physical testing methods on natural fibers especially cotton. Testing methods applied on yarns and USTER graphics and statistics. Testing methods applied on woven, knitted and nonwoven structures

1Teaching national and international standards on textiles
2Distinguish natural and man-made fibers and knows testing methods on fibers

5Teaching unevenness test methods and understanding of periodic faults on yarns
6Teaching USTER statistics and evaluation of yarn quality
7Teaching test methods applied on woven and knitted structures
8Teaching some special fabric tests
