COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Students are expected to have knowledge about the knitting machinery.
Course Content Classification of knitting machines, usage area and common feature of its running principles of V-bed knitting machine, knitting tools, yarn guide, mechanism of knit cam, mechanism of design knit, feeding yarn, control and security equipment. Comparison of circular knitting machine and V-bed knitting machine, Running principles of circular knitting machine, fabric take-up mechanism, mechanic and electronic jacquard and control unit. Comparison of warp knitting machine and other machine, running principles of warp knitting machine, knitting tools, loop forms, warp feeding and fabric take-up mechanism, design mechanism. .

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students are expected to have knowledge about classification of knitting machines.
2Students are expected to have knowledge about electronic flat bed knitting machines.
3Students are expected to have knowledge about knitting errors and their eliminations on weft knittings.
4Students are expected to have knowledge about robbing-back theory on knitting.
5Students are expected to have knowledge about production calculation on circular weft knitting machine.
