Course Objective Content of general yarn technology lecture prepared aiming to give information about technological and theoratical yarn properties. Principles of yarn production technologies and production machinery.
Course Content Historical improvements of yarn spinning technology. Classification of yarn production, (fiber lengtf, production method, structure, raw material, ..) Fiber properties that influences yarn properties. Yarn structural properties. Yarn processing properties. Drawing, doubling theories. Cotton spinning, production steps. Long stapel spinning. Texturizing process. Yarn numbering systems.
