COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To teach the basic concepts of organic chemistry.
Course Content Synthesis and purification of organic compounds, and Cycloalkanes Alkanes, Alkenes, synthesis and reactions of alkynes, aromatic compounds (benzene, and the structure and reactions), alcohols, alcohol, physical properties and reactions important for the recognition of alcohols, the physical properties and reactions of Phenols, epoxy, and the classification of ethers, synthesis of aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, and general reactions, and Identification Tests Using the synthesis of amines, amino acids and proteins.
