Course Objective The aim of this lecture to teach chemical textile fibers. Content of this lecture aiming to include information about classification of synthetic and regenerated textile fibers, their production and chemical and physical properties of these fibers.
Course Content General knowledge about chemcial fiber classification and the definition about chemical fibers. Definitions of fiber properties. The production, properties and end-use applications of regenerated, synthetic, anorganic and micro fibers.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students become aware of general information about synthetic and regenerated fibers
2Students become aware of fiber spinning processes and polimerization reactions
3Students become aware of regenerated cellulose and protein fibers, their structures and properties
4Students become aware of the production, properties and end-use of Polyester, poliamide, polyacrilonitril, polyurethan, polyethylene, polypropilene, PVC, PVA fibers
5Students become aware of the production, properties and end-use of microfibers nad anorganic fibers.
6Students become aware of end-use applications of chemical fibers
