Course Objective The aim of the course is tought basic tools necessary for understanding of soil behaviour using the index and engineering properties of soil.
Course Content Fundemental properties of soils and formation, Grain size analysis, Density limits of fine sized soils, Phase relations, Identification and classification of soil, Soil compaction, Permeability and water flow through soil, Soil compaction and consilidation, Soil shear resistance, Side soil compression, Distirbution of stress in soil, Foundations, Soil slope stability, Applied Soil mechanics, Water content and determination in soil, Determination of spesific gravity, Analysis of soil grain size, Solving problems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
