Course Objective To provide information about mechanical principles used in engineering designs for the freshman students.
Course Content The content of the course consists of the Equilibrium condition of resting bodies subjected to forces, reaction forces of bodies under this equilibrium condition, the centroid, basic structural systems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to know the engineering applications of mathematics and physics.
2Will be able to know the application area of mechanics.
3Will be able to identify and solve equilibrium problems of bars.
4Will be able to calculate center of gravity of the bar cross-sections.
5Will be able to identify and analyze trusses.
