Course Objective The objective of the course is to let students understand the issues related to Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing and Management under the broader concept of sustainability.
Course Content Concept of sustainability, environment and engineering interaction, main components of environmentally conscious manufacturing and management, environmentally conscious design, life cycle analysis, environmentally conscious manufacturing, environmentally conscious logistics, green supplier selection, reverse logistics, remanufacturing and recycling, engineering approaches in environmentally conscious manufacturing and management.
