Course Objective To teach basic laws of thermodynamics; properties of pure substances; open and closed system analysis.
Course Content Equilibrium, temperature and reversibility. First Law of thermodynamics, heat and work. Second Law of thermodynamics and entropy. Equations of states and thermodynamic properties of pure substances. Engineering applications of these rules on analysis and design of closed and open systems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
