COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Describe qualitative and quantitative properties of wastewater and accounts for wastewater flowrate taking into account all the factors that lead to the formation of wastewater.
2Defines the purpose of use of the units in the wastewater treatment plant, treatment mechanisms, design parameters and types.
3Design the units in wastewater treatment plants and interpret the key parameters in plant operation.
4Compares the basic physical and biological treatment options used in wastewater treatment.
