Course Objective The aim of the course is to improve the Turkish capabilities of the international students attending university by improving the ability to understand and analyze visual and auditory Turkish materials and their Turkish vocabulary, by making analytical and applied studies to acquire Turkish as a foreign language, by showing academic writing and presentation techniques and supporting them to express themselves academically in written and verbal terms, by developing their academic / scientific reading and interpretation skills and by contributing to the development of the skills of analyzing written texts in Turkish by increasing academic Turkish levels.
Course Content In-class activities of reading texts, listening records, speech tasks and writing activities to improve the reading, listening, speaking and writing language skills of international students who are continuing their undergraduate education. Activities to prepare Turkish scientific studies such as thesis, article, presentation, report. Activities for students to interpret Turkish audio and visual works such as film, theater and radio play. Activities for students on any subject in Turkish, in front of the community, to provide scientific and audio-visual activities.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1He / she understands the Turkish speeches through selective listening and summarizes the topics of the speeches and makes comments about them.
2Students will be able to understand the texts from the Turkish literature in detail, understand the deep and semantic meanings of these texts, interpret the themes of the texts, their themes and their messages, select and understand the words and words such as jargon, slang, idioms in these texts.
3The students can communicate their ideas and opinions to the other party without misunderstanding; express himself / herself in a fluent and precise language and take advantage of different means of expressions.
4In his/her writings, he/she chooses a suitable language and style for his target audience, uses different narrative techniques and chooses appropriate words, concepts, words and expressions.
5He/she selects the implicit meanings in the speeches and texts he/she listens to and understands the speeches prepared in technical and scientific terms.
6Understands the main idea of the text he / she reads and chooses the relationship between the title, subtitle and subject in the texts.
7Explain his / her professional opinions in detail, create written compositions on complex subjects and support the main idea of the text he writes with helpful thoughts.
8He/she clearly understands the differences between the literary text and the scientific literature, and selects the transitions very clearly in the parts in which both text types coexist.
