Course Objective The aim of this course is to ensure that the data mining, big data, business analytics and business intelligence concepts, and the principles of these concepts in terms of businesses, and creating the theoretical infrastructure on these issues with the help of the softwares.
Course Content In the course, an introduction in the field of big data and business intelligence will be performed and information on the technological infrastructure (data concept and data warehouses) will be provided. The data mining will be explained and information on data mining methods will be made. These methods will be evaluated with the software applications. In the last part of the course, normative business intelligence approaches and visual analytical issues will be referred to. Applications in these issues will be carried out with related softwares. The course will be completed by providing general information about business intelligence and data mining trends and large data analytics.
