Course Objective	Multimedia data has become an indispensable part of our daily life and modern computer technology. Multimedia hardware and software, issues in effectively representing, processing and transmitting multimedia data topics will be introduced in multimedia systems design
Course Content	This course will give information about principles and current technologies of multimedia systems. Representing, processing, and retrieving multimedia data such as sound, music, image, animation, video and graphics will be discussed.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery	Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Student will have the knowledge about processing, transferring and accessing to the multimedia data like sound, music, image, video and graphics.
2	Student will have the knowledge about compression algorithms for storing the multimedia data.
3	Student will have the knowledge about sampling and quantization of the multimedia data.
4	Student will have the knowledge about image enhancement methods like filtering and histogram equalization.
