Course Objective Purpose of this course is to teach what expert systems, their using areas, how they are built and properties related to user interface.
Course Content Introduction to expert systems, representation of information in computers, programming languages for expert systems, sets and logic, methods for inference, trees, networks and graphs, inference with forward chaining and back chaining, inference with ambiguous, theory of probability, distribution of probabilities, methods for fuzzy logic, inference with deficient data, ambiguous factors and theory of Dempster-Shafer, design of expert systems, pattern matching, effective programming, examples of expert systems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
