Course Objective At first, acquainting the students with fundamental mathematical concepts like vectors, vector spaces, matrices and linear transformations. Then, teaching them the methods of solving the general linear system equations together with its applications.
Course Content Vectors / Matrices and the solution of linear system equations / Vector spaces and subspaces / Orthogonality and orthogonalization / Determinants / Eigenvalues and eigenvectors / Computations with matrices / Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and its applications.
