COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective Applications of drawing, design and solid modeling are performed in mechanical engineering using a solid modeling software.
Course Content In sketch modelling; drawing line, rectangle, circle, polygon, arc, etc., are performed using computer. All those patterns are applied via drawing some machine parts. In solid modeling; sketched parts are extruded, revolved, swept etc. to crate solid model. Different kinds of machine parts are modeled using those patterns. In assembly modeling; crate assembly page, insert component, mate, standard mates, advanced mates, mechanical mates, exploded view, etc. are performed. In animation; linear and circular movement, animator, animation wizard, rotate model, explode, save animation, etc. are performed. Machine assembled by different parts is animated.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
