Course Objective Purpose of this course is to teach fundamental concepts of probability and statistics from an engineering perspective.
Course Content Fundamentals of probability, sample space and events, definitions of probability, conditional probability, independence of events, Bayes Theorem, discrete random variables, probability mass function, discrete uniform and Binomial distributions, continuous random variables, probability density function, cumulative distribution function, uniform distribution, normal distribution, descriptive statistics, sampling distribution, point estimation, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
