Course Objective The aim of the course is to teach the determination of the defects inside and on the surface of the material with nondestructive testing methods and to enable the results of these tests to be interpreted. .
Course Content Material defects and their classification. Classification of nondestructive testing methods. Surface testing of materials by liquid penetrant methods. Material testing with magnetic particles. Ultrasonic testing of materials. Material testing with x-rays and gamma rays. Material testing with eddy current.
