COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective Understanding, the basic equations of fluid dynamics, modeling and solution of problems of many engineering fields with them are the main purpose of this course.
Course Content The course outline follows as: • A brief history of and introduction to compressible flow, • Integral and differential forms of conservation laws, • 1-D flow • Oblique shock and expansion waves, • Quasi 1-D flow, • Unsteady wave motion, • Linearized flow. • Gases at high temperatures and their flow.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Bu dersi alan öğrenciler; • Temel korunum kanunları hakkındaki bilgilerini geliştirebilecek, • Korunum denklemleri hakkında daha fazla bilgi sahibi olabilecek ve korunum kanunlarının sürekli sistemlerdeki uygulamalarını tecrübe edebilecekler, • Sıkıştırılabilir akışlar ile sıkıştırılamaz akışlar arasındaki farkları ve sıkıştırılabilirlik etkilerini ayırt edebilecekler, • Termodinamikte olduğu gibi, sıkıştırılabilir akışlarda gazlar hakkında detaylı bilgi sahibi olabilecekler ve • Sıkıştırılabilir akışkanların temel akış problemleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olabileceklerdir.
