COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to familiarize the student with some instruments like air table and to teach him/her how to use them to measure some important physical quantities. In addition to this, developing the skill of presenting and analyzing measurements in a systematic manner by the use of tables and graphs are another aim of this course. .
Course Content Measurement Errors and Graphs, Mechanics Experiments Set Up with Air Table, Motion in One Dimension with Constant Velocity, Motion in One Dimension with Constant Acceleration, Motion with Constant Acceleration on an Inclined Plane, Motion in Two Dimensions on an Inclined Plane, Projectile Motion on an Inclined Plane, Rotational Motion, Conservation of Energy, Collision and Conservation of Linear Momentum.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To recognize the experiment devices and to know how to use them.
2To measure the pyhsical magnitudes and learn the instruments of the measurement.
3To learn the transfer of data to the graph and table.
4To analyze the measurement results in a systematic way and presents them.

6To Gain proficiency in developing measuring devices.
