Course Objective The aim of the course is to introduce fundamental concepts of simulation and modelling techniques.
Course Content Simulation in brief: Simulation analysis and decision making, elements of simulation analysis. Modelling and simulation: Developing simulation models, simulation languages for modelling, analytic models and simulation. Building and validating simulation models. Data collection and analysis, random numbers and random variety generation, model verification and validation. Using simulation models: Output analysis, model experimentation and optimization, implementation of simulation results.
