Course Objective This cours will give students the information about how to formulate and solve the problems met in business. In addition, this course teach the computer packages that can be used in the solution e f the models.
Course Content The basic concepts and history of Operational Research. Applications of Operational Research. Linear programming (LP). Solution Methods of LP. Simplex algorithm. Big M and Two Phase Methods. Duality and Dual Simplex Algorithm. Sensitivity analysis. Transportation problems. Assignment Problems.
