Course Objective The general objective of this course is to introduce the main subject of public finance in a beginner level. At the end of the course students are expect to have basic knowledge of public finance.
Course Content The Role Of The Government in The Economy, Economic Policy Options in A Mixed-Capitalistic Economy, Evaluate The Opportunity Cost Of Government Activity, Critique The Government Transfer Programs For Their Effects On The Work, İncentives Of The Recipients and on Resource Allocation in The Country, Apply Cost-Benefit Analysis to Determine the Relative Merits Of Government .
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Know the basic differences in the economic function betwwen the public sector and private sector.
2Describes the types and classification of public expenditure and analyzes the economic effects of public expenditure.
3Describes Taxation and analyzes taxes in the Turkish Tax System.
4Evaluates the political, economic and legal dimensions of State Budget.
5Describes the objectives and instruments of Fiscal Policy.
