Course Objective The course surveys theoretical and empirical economic analysis that has important implications for fiscal policy. Special emphasis is given to the policy priorities of the middle-income economies. At the conclusion of this course the students will be able to analyze the economic fluctuations and economic development. .
Course Content National Income and İts Determination, Changes in National Income and Multiplier Models, The Definition, Aims, Tools and Limits of Fiscal Policy, Measuring The Effects of Fiscal Policy, Evaluation of The Effectiveness of Fiscal Policies According to Different Approaches, Classical, Keynesian and Monetarist Theories, Theories of Rational Expectations, New Classical Economics and New Keynesian Economics .
