Course Objective The aim of this course is to donate the participating students with the knowledge of the basic security rules of computer networks, to develop security measures against security attacks.
Course Content Overview of Cryptography, Identification and Authentication, Access Control, Operating System Security, Key Distribution, TCP/IP Security, IPSec, WWW Security, SSL and TLS, E-Mail Security, (PGP, S/MIME), PKI and certificate systems, Viruses, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, E-Commerce Security.
