Course Objective Aim:Assesment of labour market and operation of labour market with its fundemantal conceptions. Globalization of labour market and the assesment of labour market indicators of World and Turkey Goal: Analysis of structure of labour market and its operation within the framework of theory and practice.
Course Content The basic concepts of the labor market, globalization of labor markets, stratified labor market, labor market institutions, labor market characteristics in Turkey.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Developing the ability to interpret and analyze the concept of labour with historical, social and economic events.
2Knowing the basic concepts of labour market and identifying with analytical thought.
3Explaining the internal and external conditions that affect the labour market, with knowledge of economic theory.
4Understanding and interpreting labour market indicators and developing solution proposals on the employment and unemployment concerning these indicators
5Developing the ability of planning, policy-making, modelling and application as a specialist, especially in public employment agency and private employment offices.
6Serving as employment specialist in national and international organizations and the private employment offices as Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Turkish Employment Agency, United Nations, European Union and United Nations Development Program.
7To provide expert opinion to support the creation of a national employment policy.
