Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide learning and analyzing the basic concepts, principles and methods related with production management and extensions. It covers examination of the nature and content of methods of quantitative analysis employed in production management and decision making.
Course Content Basic concepts of production management. Production systems and classification of production systems. Product and service design. Location planning. Facility layout. Capacity planning. Job analysis; Motion and time studies. Technology selection. Repair and maintenance planning.
