Course Objective The main objectives of this course are to understand of consumer behavior and to develop an understanding of peoples' consumption-related behaviors and to evaluate marketing strategies intended to influence those behaviors.
Course Content The concepts of necessity, customer, consumer and consumption, the concept of consumer behaviour and marketing, the importance of consumer behaviour in marketing and selling, purchase process, the models of consumer behaviour, the relationship among need, impulse and motivation, perception, learning, attitude, personality and the theories of personality, life style, culture and subculture, social class, family, reference groups, customer in industrial markets and their buying characteristics
