Course Objective Give insights to prospective teachers about mathematical error, difficulty and misconception, help them reveal similarities and differences about these concepts, administer them research the related literature about questioning techniques and offer solutions about these topics.
Course Content Mathematical error, difficulty and misconception; types of misconceptions, mathematical concepts and common misconceptions about these concepts in the related literature; questioning techniques unveiling thinking processes of middle school students; offering solutions related to misconceptions based on the characteristics of subject area and individual differences of students.
