Course Objective To enable students to question the different roles of technology in mathematics education and the effectiveness of these roles in learning and to produce innovative views on the effective integration of technology in mathematics education.
Course Content Introduction of the technologies used in teaching mathematics (LOGO, Cabri, Dynamic Geometry, CAS, MAPLE, DERIVE, Autograph, Gizmo etc.), contribution of technology to teaching, evaluation of the role of the teacher, role of the student, mediator role of the computer programs, development of technology based activities, evaluation of benefits and difficulties of the use of technology.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
