Course Objective The aim of this course is to acquire basic concepts of human and computer interaction. In line with this aim it is also aimed understanding the cognitive structure of the human being as well. In addition to this, looking from a holistic perspective to the approaches resulting from this interaction is one of the other objectives of the course.
Course Content Basic concepts in human-computer interaction; the historical development, the preliminary and philosophical dimension of human-computer interaction; human cognitive structure and information processing model; mental models, psychology and human computer interaction design; the technologies used in human-computer interaction; design approaches; availability, effectiveness and efficiency; interface evaluation methods; usability tests.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
