Course Objective The aim of the course is to be aware of the importance of ethics concept for information and communication technologies and to have knowledge about ethics and security.
Course Content Ethics; historical development of computer security; ethics-professional relationship and professional ethics; nature of ethical principles; digital citizenship and the ethical responsibilities of the information society individual; ethical problems in the use of information resources; correctness of information; information access; privacy; data protection; intellectual property, copyrights, patents and license agreements; informatics crimes; social effects of informatics crimes; basic concepts about cyber space and cyber security; cyber actors and methods of attack; cyber defense methods; security in mobile and social media environments; network security; personal and organizational data security management; information legislation and law
