COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Goals of this lesson are students to be able make visual design of Web pages, to recognize the Web site development technologies and infrastructure, to recognize and be able to use Web and medium editors, to know the design principles and design web sites and interface according to those principles, to follow up the design and development trends, to know the use of Web in learning environments, comprehend foundations of Internet/Web Based/supported learning and can develop Web sites according to them
Course Content The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the fundamentals of web-based computing, web clients and hyper text servers, the CGI standard and CGI programming techniques. Through server-side scripting languages such as php students will develop web-applications using accepted techniques and tools and interfacing to popular RDBMS servers.
