Course Objective The definition and basic principles of special education. The reasons for disabled groups, the importance of early diagnosis and cure, historical approach to the view of disabled groups. The characteristics and education of mentally, orally, visually, and physically disabled children, children with language and communication problems, continual diseases, learning disability, attention problems, hyperactivity problems; and otistic, and gifted children. Education with play for children who are developing differently. The observed reactions of families with children who need special education. The structure of special education in Turkey. The coorparations and institutions for this purpose.
