COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective To know the computer network structures and communication structures. Understand the protocols applications. Describe the structure of the intranet and the internet. Devices to recognize the basic network setup.
Course Content This course introduces the underlying concepts and principles of computer networks. It presents the different components of a network and how these components fit together. The course emphasizes the design and implementation of network software that transforms raw hardware into a richly functional communication system. Real networks (such as the Internet, ATM, Ethernet, Token Ring) are used as examples to reinforce the concepts and demonstrate various protocols.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1definitions of computer networks, network types can tell, are comparable.
2knows and can distinguish between a computer network topologies.
3devices used in a network system, choose which devices will be what type of networks, can explain the properties of the devices.
4standards and protocols in the network system can be expressed.
