Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to help prospective counselors gain critical knowledge and skills in identifying the issues faced by school age young individuals, investigating the contextual elements (e.g., media, family, peers, society, school, culture, tradition) feeding those problems, and designing new curricula to assist those students in the counseling process they will manage.

Violence, technology addiction, nourishment and health, addiction (drugs, alcohol, cigarette), exam and future anxiety, relations to other sex, one parent family, depression, suicide, consumerism, communication issues, discrimination, oppression, identity search
