Course Objective The aim of the course is to overview the tests of general intellectual level and scales for infants and pre-school children; to prepare the student using objective psychological tests.
Course Content Introduction, Key players in the history & development of intelligence, Intelligence Quotient, Theories of intelligence, Measurement, method & testing, Causes & correlates of intelligence, Test of General Intellectual Level, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Scales for Infants and Pre-school Children, Ankara Developmental Inventory

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students will become familiar with different definitions of intelligence and major theories of intelligence
2Students will become familiar with the psychometric properties of individual intelligence testing.
3Students be able to administer, score, and interpret the WAIS and WISC-R.
4. Students be able to administer, score, and interpret the Ankara Developmental Inventory
