COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of the course is to overview the most commonly used personality tests; to describe the developmental rationale, the personality and symptomatic measures of the instrument and the strategies for interpreting and communicating the results. Objectives; a) students will become familiar with psychometric characteristics of major standardized measures of personality, and b) students will be able to administer, score, and interpret the personality tests such as Minnesota Multiphasic Personality ınventory (MMPI).
Course Content Self-report Inventories The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory Projective techniques Sentence Completion Tests Draw a person; House-Tree-Person Test; Kinetic Family Drawing Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) Children Apperception Test (CAT) Bender-Gestalt Visual Motor Test.
