Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide students with information about the fields and branches of educational philosophy, educational epistemology, axiology and logic, the effects of philosophical trends on Turkish educational policies after Turkish Revolution. .
Course Content The relationship of philosopy and education, the definition of educational phiolosophy, basic phiolosophical trends effect the education(idealism, realism, pragmatism, existentialism), educational phiolosopy trends (perennializm, essentialism, progressvism,reconstructionism, existentialism,constructivism), the effects on Turkey Repuclic education system, contemporary educational systems.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

2Explain function and types of philosophy and relation between philosophy and social institutes.
