Course Objective	The aim of this course is two folded. First, to help student to gain fundamental knowledge and skills to critically read and analyze a scientific article, and second to help students to gain basic skills and knowledge to write a scientific report. .
Course Content	Fundamental concepts and approaches in research Steps in scintific research Research questions and hypotheses Library search and literature review Critical thinking about research: Selecting subjects and controling confounding variables Research designs and the threats to validity Report writing .
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Recognize main concepts related to scientific research process.
2	Understand the significance of science, scientific method and scientific research
3	Recognize various sources related to science and scientific research.
4	Conduct literature review by utilizing different sources.
5	Collecting adequate information for the related topic of the research.
6	Synthesize the related information in a critical and effective way.
7	Have knowledge of writing and preparing report.
