COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective The aim of the course is to select the appropriate statistical technique for the research questions, to apply it in the computer package program and to interpret the output.
Course Content Basic concepts related to statistics, data organization, descriptive statistics, probability calculations, probability distributions, parametric and nonparametric hypothesis tests, correlation and types, simple linear and multiple regression analyzes, t tests, variance analysis and application of these statistics in packet programs
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows the central tendency and distribution measures
2Generates appropriate null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis for research question
3Chooses the appropriate statistical technique for a research question
4Analyzes and interprets on the correlation using a statistical package software
5Compares the means of two groups using statistical package software and interprets the results
6Compares the means of two related measures using statistical package program and interprets the results
7Compares the means of more than two groups using statistical package software and interprets the results
8Analyzes simple and multiple linear regression models and interprets the output
