Course Objective The aim is this course is to know the basic concepts of education; to examine legal, social, cultural, historical, political, economic, philosophical and psychological basics of education; to know research methods in educational sciences, to explain the qualifications of teaching proficiency and teachers, to know the attributes and development of teacher education, to analyze the developments in teacher education and to examine the tendencies in educational sciences.
Course Content The basic concepts of education and teaching; objectives and functions of education: relation of education with other sciences of it judicial, social,cultural, historical, political, economic, philosophical and psychological basics of education; research methods in educational sciences; school and classroom as an educational and learning environment; Teaching profession and developments in teacher education; educational tendencies at the 21st century,
