Course Objective To understand the content, history and stages of service-learning approach; to recognize the contribution of service learning to individual development and teaching profession’s competencies, to prepare and implement a spesific service learning-based lesson plan.
Course Content The definition and scope of service learning, its difference from other experimental learning, its historical and philosophical foundations, its contribution to individual development and professional competencies, the difficulties and stages that need to be considered for higher outputs.
