Course Objective Design principles and elements that make up visual arts; To be able to comprehend the design language consisting of composition information. Being able to design two- and three-dimensional works with different techniques and materials by paying attention to the relationship between form and content. Bringing a contemporary perspective to art and design by developing visual literacy skills and aesthetic perceptio
Course Content It includes two- and three-dimensional original art and design works within the scope of form-content relationship by using the composition knowledge consisting of design principles (rhythm, movement, balance, proportion-proportion, contrast, emphasis, unity, diversity) and elements (line, color, texture, form-form, space) that make up the visual arts. In addition, within the scope of the course, students are provided to explore conceptual ideas for alternative applications and to benefit from architecture, nature and other disciplines to develop different strategies; students are asked to create portfolios; Emphasis is placed on complying with ethical rules in visual art practices.
