COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective This course aims to provide technical knowledge and artistic experience about printing techniques and making processes. In addition, examples containing the historical process of printmaking are analized during the course.
Course Content The chronological development of printmaking, theories and concepts are examined; monotype, linoleum, woodcut, gravure, lithography, serigraphy, plexiglass, digital printing, etc. knowledge of printmaking techniques and applied studies; to make creative, original works by using the technical possibilities of printmaking; as well as connecting students' work with different disciplines and contemporary art practices; health and safety precautions are taken in applications to be carried out within the scope of workshops; students should also learn about the exhibition methods, process, presentation techniques and portfolio preparation, apply these knowledge and compliance with ethical rules is ensured in all processes.
