Course Objective Getting to know, participate and share the institutions, activities, basic resources, websites related to photography. To learn the legal dimension of photography and the intellectual and artistic works law, to use photographic images as artistic practice and teaching materials in art education and to develop a social responsibility project, to perform project-based work and video shootings as an individual or group, to know digital printing techniques in photography.
Course Content The Major Studio - Photography VI course contains (1) non-governmental organizations (associations, TFSF, PSA, FIAP) and their activities related to photography, educational institutions, real and virtual galleries (2) Photo organizations (national, international festivals, competitions, biennials), ( 3) photographic sources and periodicals publishing (4) photo sharing on the Internet; social media applications, personal portfolio sites, photo sharing through corporate sites, commercial visual sales (stock) sites, virtual organizations, virtual exhibition sharing (5) Legal aspects of taking and sharing photos, copyright (6) Photography applications in art education (7) project-based applications in photography; It includes themes for photo-interviews, photo-documentaries, artistic presentations, developing social responsibility projects, reporting, presenting, (8) Prepare graduation presentation file (portfolio) and include video based applications in projects and photo printing techniques. Students participate in individual or group workshops on these topics.
