Course Content Dominant 9th chord; modulation to distantly related keys; analyzing and harmonizing modulating melodies; Composing and accompanying school music; 3-4 voice rounds

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Harmonizes fourth-sixth chord with related bass part.
2Armonizes the given soprano part by using root and inversion chords.
3Advances her/his hearing by playing the learned chords on piano.
4Distinguishes the learned chords on vocal pieces (song and chorus pieces)
5Acquires a skill for writing an accompaniment for a melody based on the learned chords.
