COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	The aim of this course is to be able to read simple printed texts in Ottoman Turkish.
Course Content	Introduction in the Ottoman Turkish alphabet, the shapes and spellings of the letters changing according to the place they are in the Word, beloved and separate letters, Writing in Ottoman Turkish, reading simple texts written in Ottoman Turkish and converting them into Latin letters. Structure of Arabic and Persian words and phrases in Turkish, acquaintance with various aspects of Ottoman culture with sample reading passages.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
